We found baby Jesus’ Daddy today. Adin, one of the little boys I’m babysitting, picked up a little man and asked if he was the daddy. Yep, Baby Jesus’ Daddy was there all along; hanging out with the shepherds. I had mistaken Joseph for one of the shepherds because he was holding a staff in his hand. Ugh! Good thing I didn’t get the time to order the replacement Daddy from Fisher Price yet. I’m thinking my husband, Randy, would never have let me live that one down.
But, you know, the whole Jesus’ missing Daddy/found Daddy drama made me wonder how many times I miss my Father day-to-day because he doesn’t look quite like I thought he should look…
