Yeah, yeah, I know, come November everyone will be telling me to stop the
insanity because I think Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s is all one big
party. It is, isn’t it? :p
This year, for the first time
ever, I am somewhat excited for school to start. But not because I want
the kids out of the house . . . I am really struggling with that this
year – the summer just passed by way too quick. But with September
brings the start of Revolution Church. This baby was conceived in March of
2013. Now 17 months later we are almost ready to give birth to her. (Yes, it’s
a her!)
I feel like any other pregnant
mom about to give birth. Scared. Excited. Wondering what I’ve forgotten to plan
for. Anxious. Overjoyed. Tired. Overwhelmed. Happy. Ugly (dark circles under
your eyes are not attractive!). Scared. Did I mention scared?
Thank you to everyone
that has prayed for us, who has contributed financially and who has been there to lend
a helping hand. We could never have made it this far without each of you! Some
of you helped for a few weeks or months and some just for a day. Some of you have been on
our team for a for awhile, some for just a short time and a few of you have been here
for the whole pregnancy.
On September 21st,
God is going to place this baby of HIS in our imperfect hand. Some days we will
be the best parents out there. Other days, not so much. But one thing is for
sure – we are going to love this new baby with all her messiness and we are going
to embrace her imperfections, as well as our own, as we share the life-changing
love of Jesus.
If you want to know how you can be involved, how you can make a positive impact in your community by being part of something great, check it out here: http://www.revolution-church.net/.
